Woot, got that PHP business sorted and now (aside from one line of the PHP-related code on the contact page) i have a fully w3c certified page!
Design document to submit tomorrow and then “disco”!
All pages now completely validate! (Even the one with the embedded Youtube video!) Going to almost close the book on the page layout phase of the project, once that PHP is done I’ll be riding high. I even added the icon at the bottom because it seems like a professional thing to do.
OK, so this has been a fun learning experience. Thank god for some extra time to make sure i pass!
Almost there….
So far i’ve altered a few things, trying to get this page up to scratch.
I’ve got the default and design pages to pass full W3C validation, and will be getting the rest valid before bed. (added all “alt” tags to every image
)
I’ve got the image size (pixels and bytes) sorted, 44.5kb total now
It works on ie6 on 800X600 and 1024×768 and 1280×1024
It works on firefox on these resolutions as well, with a few funny extra spaces at the footer, which i hope to iron out by tonight.
The main problem now is to get the page height to recognize the floated divs and stretch accordingly, without me adding heaps of “
” things. This will chew up a bit of time i think.
Then its on to the PHP and updating the design document tomorrow.
Great Job!
I need to see how the css behaves to the page growing. Therefore, i will post a few more things just to get the feed longer and stretch the page vertically. Here is a cool thing.

This is a test post. I am burning this feed… or something. i don’t really understand it. Hope it works!
